Lady Dukes Softball Club – Klippert represents a proud extension of a nationally respected organization known for developing elite softball athletes across the country. Our program is firmly established in the Pacific Northwest, committed to delivering the same high-level training, exposure, and competitive opportunities that define the Lady Dukes standard.

Our mission goes beyond winning games. We invest in the whole athlete — fostering excellence in the classroom, strength in the weight room, leadership in the community, and relentless competitiveness on the field. Here, players are developed, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.

The Lady Dukes name carries weight across the softball world. Founded by Coach James Lamar in North Carolina, what started as a single 10U team has grown into one of the nation’s premier softball organizations.

  • National Reach
From its roots on the East Coast, the program has expanded into more than 200 teams across over a multiple states.
  • Proven Success
Lady Dukes athletes have committed to some of the top NCAA programs in the country, many at the Division I level.
  • Elite Competition
Teams compete in the most prestigious events in youth softball, including PGF Nationals, Scenic City, and Triple Crown.
  • High Standards
Families and players know that wearing the Lady Dukes name means more than winning games. It means carrying yourself with accountability, discipline, and integrity on and off the field.

This culture of excellence is what sets Lady Dukes apart. Players aren’t just prepared for the next tournament. They’re prepared for the next stage of their lives.

Why the Pacific Northwest?

Softball talent runs deep here in Washington and across the Pacific Northwest. But too often, athletes and families feel they need to travel thousands of miles to get the training, exposure, and network to reach the college level. Lady Dukes exists to change that. By bringing the Dukes’ national platform and resources into this region, we’re opening doors for our athletes right here at home. We want every athlete who wears this jersey to know they are part of something bigger — a program with a history, a reputation, and a clear pathway to growth.

Our Mission

We believe in building athletes who excel at all levels of life. Our approach focuses on:

  • Player Development
Every practice, every rep, every drill is designed to make our athletes better. We emphasize fundamentals, mental toughness, and situational awareness — the foundation that wins games and builds confidence.
  • Exposure and Opportunity
We compete in tournaments that matter. We give our athletes visibility with college coaches and recruiting networks so they can be seen, scouted, and supported in their future paths.
  • Education and Character
Our athletes are students first. We set academic expectations, provide study hall support, and encourage accountability. The goal isn’t just college offers — it’s preparing our players for success in life.
  • Community and Family
This program thrives on family involvement. Parents, coaches, and players are in this together. We build a culture of support, respect, and shared ownership.
  • Long-Term Growth
Lady Dukes is not a quick season project. It’s a long-term vision. We are creating a home for Pacific Northwest athletes to grow, develop, and compete for years to come.

Looking Ahead

This first season is just the start. Over the coming years we plan to:

  • Build out full development pathways from 10u through 18u
  • Establish partnerships for training, recruiting, and academic support
  • Expand tournament presence regionally and nationally
  • Grow alumni connections so that our players stay connected even after they graduate

Our vision is simple: to become the most respected, most visible, and most impactful softball program in the Pacific Northwest — while carrying the proud Lady Dukes name.

Let’s Go

To our players: we see you. We believe in you. We’ll push you to become your best self and support you every step of the way.

To our families: thank you for trusting us. Your role is the backbone of this program, and your involvement will help define our culture.

To our community: this is bigger than softball. This is about raising strong young women who will lead in every area of life.

We set the standard, together.
