Lexi brings elite-level playing experience, coaching expertise, and a strong foundation in athletic development to her role as Assistant Coach for the Lady Dukes 12U Christensen team. A decorated high school and collegiate athlete, Lexi is known for her attention to detail, strong infield knowledge, and ability to help players build both technical skill and confidence.

Playing Career

Lexi graduated from Olympic High School in 2009, where she was a multi-sport athlete and a three-time varsity letterwinner in softball. Her high school accomplishments include:
  • All-State First Team (2009)
  • Kitsap County Female Athlete of the Year (2009)
  • Olympic League Co-MVP (2009)
  • All-League First Team (2008, 2009)
  • All-League Second Team (2007)
  • Selected for senior all-star showcase
She continued her playing career at Olympic College, where she started as a middle infielder from 2009 to 2011. During her time there, she earned NWAACC First Team All-Conference honors while hitting .436 with 13 RBIs, demonstrating her consistency on both sides of the field. Lexi transferred to Western Oregon University, where she competed at the NCAA Division II level and was named GNAC Player of the Week. In 2012, she was recognized as a NFCA Scholar-Athlete, balancing performance on the field with strong academic achievement.challenged, supported, and expected to grow with her.

Coaching & Development

Lexi served as an Assistant Coach at Olympic College from 2016 to 2018, where she mentored student-athletes and contributed to the technical and mental development of the team. Her background in coaching, combined with her competitive playing history, gives her a well-rounded approach that resonates with athletes across all stages of growth. As part of the Lady Dukes 12U Christensen staff, she focuses on:

  • Infield development and defensive fundamentals
  • Game IQ, anticipation, and situational training
  • Player accountability and consistent reps

Education

Lexi holds an Associate of Arts degree from Olympic College, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Human Biology from Western Oregon University, and an Associate Degree in Nursing, further supporting her holistic understanding of athlete performance and well-being.
